National Trails Day Labor Day Bridge Walk Group Events

Are you looking for fun, family activities along the Paint Creek Trail? You've come to the right place! The Paint Creek Trailways Commission organizes two events each year. National Trails Day is the first Saturday in June, and it's a nationwide event sponsored by the American Hiking Society. In September, we offer a "Labor Day Virtual Bridge Walk" event to coincide with the Governor's Walk and Run across the Mackinac Bridge. The Walk becomes more popular each year! Additionally, we will post other events that have been approved on the Trail, such as walkathons, marathons, or cycling events. If you would like to hold your event on the trail, and are expecting 35 people or more, please visit our Policies page for an application.
