Parking for the Paint Creek Trail

WHERE DO I PARK?

The Paint Creek Trailways Commission has 7 parking areas for you to use. They are located in the following locations:

  • Rochester Municipal Park – Pine Street, north of University, west of Main Street (Rochester Road) in Rochester.
  • Rochester Hills: North side of Tienken Road, just west of the Trail between Livernois and Rochester Roads.
  • Oakland Township: Silver Bell Road, west of Orion Road on the south side
  • Goodison: Paint Creek Trail office parking lot, 4393 Collins Road, Rochester (Goodison) 48306. Collins runs to the north off of Orion, east of Gallagher.
  • Oakland Township: Gallagher Road, west of Orion Road, on the north side
  • Lake Orion: Behind the Applebee's Commons plaza at Atwater/M-24, near Converse Court. New signage indicates parking reserved for trail users. Additional parking is available in Downtown Lake Orion at Children's Park or in the Municipal lot at Flint and Shadbolt streets. For help, download our map detail.

Please avoid parking on private or residential streets near the trail.

Our Mission Statement
The mission statement of the Paint Creek Trailways Commission is to provide non-motorized users such as,
walkers, bicyclists, joggers, cross-country skiers and equestrians a safe and scenic recreational trail,
and to preserve the natural integrity of the right-of-way
for the enjoyment of future generations.
